Wraps, knits, and naps — the gentlest shoot there is.

Newborn wardrobe is texture at tiny scale: stretch wraps, knit bonnets and rompers, a faux-fur layer inside a posing basket. Neutrals photograph timeless — oat, cream, sage — and everything must be soft enough to sleep through, because the whole session is scheduled around a nap.
Shoot within the first two weeks for curled sleepy poses, use window light only, and keep the room warm. Safety is the brief: never leave a posed baby unattended, and composite any pose that needs a supporting hand. Patience is the most-used equipment.
