Masks, gowns, and identity as an accessory.

The masquerade shoot is portraiture with the rules inverted: the mask hides the face, so the eyes, lips and posture carry everything. Ornate Venetian masks pair with evening gowns and opera gloves; lace masks with something softer. One metallic element ties mask to wardrobe.
Candlelight tones — deep reds, golds, blacks — and hard shadows suit the secrecy. Shoot close on the eyes through the mask; that single frame justifies the theme. A feather fan adds movement to otherwise formal poses.
