Quiet luxury: tweed, navy, pearls — nothing loud.

Old money photographs as restraint: natural fabrics, tailored fits, a palette that looks inherited. Navy, camel, cream, forest and gray — pick three and repeat them. Texture does the work color does elsewhere: herringbone, cable knit, silk twill. At portrait distance a thrifted tweed blazer is indistinguishable from a four-figure one.
Lean on set dressing: a book, a dog, a vintage car, one prop per frame. Campuses, gardens, stone steps and marinas read like membership and cost nothing. Overcast light flatters wool; harsh sun cheapens it.
